Jessie specializes in counseling couples and adult individuals (ages 18+) surrounding:
· Marital Distress
· Attachment Injuries (affair recovery/intimate betrayal)
· Past harm (abuse, neglect, trauma)
· Emotional regulation struggles
· Self-injury (cutting, pinching, carving, burning, hair pulling)
· Spiritual struggles
The decision to seek therapy can be filled with life-size expectations and is usually made when we are in acute pain. Jessie is sensitive to the risk it entails to take this step toward healing and seeks to provide a safe and supportive place to process the best and most difficult parts of your story.
Jessie counsels in a non-judging, empathic, and holistic manner that honors the complexity and uniqueness of each individual. She adheres to an emotionally-focused model that prioritizes attachment needs and bonding, between partners (or core attachments) and within the self.
